Founded in 2017 by professional auctioneer Kate Phillips, the company was built on a simple belief: the right auctioneer can transform outcomes with energy, transparency, and heart.
With more than twenty years of industry experience, Kate has worked in every part of the auction world—from clerking and office management to bid calling, ring work, and full event management. Her well-rounded background allows KP Auction Group to deliver a seamless, high-integrity auction process for nonprofit fundraising, estate liquidations, automobiles and equipment, real estate, and professional auctioneer services across Texas.

Raised in the auction world, Kate developed a passion for the craft early. She officially launched her career after attending Texas Auction Academy in 2013 and quickly established herself as a standout professional.
For Kate, auctioneering is more than calling bids—it’s a craft built on strategy, psychology, and connection. After a decade in the industry, she recognized an opportunity to elevate the client experience and founded KP Auction Group in 2017.
Her mission: to provide professional, full-service auction solutions rooted in expertise, authenticity, and exceptional client care.
